We at Bay Area Molding are deeply commited to preserving our environment.  Because of this, we have chosen to carry environmentally friendly products and to run fuel efficient and biofueled transportation.

At Bay Area Molding, we go to great lengths to support those suppliers who use sustainable forest management practices, which integrate the world’s social, economic and environmental needs.  ALL of our molding is harvested from certified sustainable forests.  However, there are many different certification processes and standards, but the most widely recognized are those of the Forest Stewardship Counsil (FSC).  We are proud to announce that we carry a line of Jesso-Coated finger jointed pine moldings which are FSC certified.  This same line of molding is also certified by: ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management System), OHSAS 18001:1999 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).

Our vehicular fleet is composed of 3 vehicles.  Our vehicle we use for estimates is a 1983 Mercedes diesel which runs on a combination of Waste Vegetable Oil and Biodiesel.  Our delivery vehicle is a diesel Dodge which runs on a Biodiesel blend.  Finally, our installation vehicle is a full size Ford truck which runs on regular unleaded gas, however instead of the guzzling V8, we chose the more efficient V6.
