Bay Area Molding Company was founded in 2002 by
two brothers, Bobby and Jon Stenrose. We have prospered
because of our high attention to detail and our
perfectionist nature which we bring into every home we
work on. We also look for the same in each and every
member of our crew. This approach to our business is
what has catapulted Bay Area Molding to become the
leading molding installation company in the Bay
Area. Our wholesale molding division also incorporates
many of the same aspects of our installation branch,
carrying only the highest quality moldings at the BEST
prices around!
The Stenrose brothers were born and raised, right
here in the Bay Area. We initially got into this business
when a good friend of ours sought our help in remodeling
a 25 unit condominium complex, to prepare each unit for
individual sale. He wanted to replace all the baseboard,
door trim and also add crown molding to boost the
appearance and increase value. Knowing our woodworking
experience, he hired us to do all the trim work. As the
job progressed, friends and family dropped by to see how
it looked and soon hired us to work in their homes. Word
of mouth spread, and we started doing more and more jobs
for friends and family. What we originally thought of as
a way to work our way through college grew into a new
venture. Realizing the demand for QUALITY molding
installation and taking immense pride in our work, we
started Bay Area Molding! A few years after we started
our installation division, we grew tired of the low
quality molding we found at Box Stores and other outlets
and started our own molding store to sell only the
highest quality moldings at the best prices.
Bobby - Is the estimator, and manager of the
installations as well as manager of the office. He
enjoys Lacrosse and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in his free
time.
Jon - (the good looking one) Upkeeps the website of Bay Area
Molding, and also manages the retail outlet. He likes to wakeboard and snowboard.
Melody – The mother of Bobby and Jon, keeps the
books in order, and manages day-to-day accounting.
Holly – Our office manager and bookkeeper brings
many years of experience to our financial department.
Nick – Came to us highly recommended with many years
in construction. He enjoys candle lit dinners and
long walks on the beach.
Ben- Has 14 years in the finish carpentry
industry, and specializes in door and mantle
installations.
Mike- Our installer/finisher, went to grammar
school with the Stenrose brothers and enjoys working on
cars and taking off-roading trips.
Tommy – Warehouse assistant is the younger
brother of the owners. He works weekends in the
warehouse while attending school.
